Teflon (TFE) and Kynar - PVDF both are on allocation.

PTFE - Polytetrafluoroethylene  products, PTFE (TFE) along with PVDF  manufacturing requires a mineral called Fluorspar which is mined in Mongolia and China. The worldwide demand for this mineral has increased significantly, and also the supply has tightened. PTFE materials have high temperature resistance, excellent chemical resistance and really low co-efficient of friction (slick) and is utilized in tons of purposes from non-stick fry pans to ptfe tape for home use. This mineral is a key raw material inside the manufacturing of fluoropolymers, fluorolubricants and a lot of refrigerants. This rise in demand paired with general shortage of raw materials has caused a dramatic price increase (almost double in the last year), shortages, and we expect these two factors to keep at it in the near future.
